We know how dirty politics can be. Or do we?

Okay, here we have another example of how low it could be.

Now this is not a personal attack on Kamala but rather it is just to illustrate what generally goes on behind the scenes of the bright lights and the cameras, and the news headlines.

Indian or Black or Colored, Which One Will I Be Today?

So Kamala Harris has always identified as Indian American.

And until as recently as last year was identifying as such.

She was sworn in by Joe Biden, hold it, to became the first Indian American in the United States Senate.

And then she was one of the most vocal against Biden during their party's primaries last year, and she called him not just a racist but also a rapist.

Now she has accepted a job to work for and under the very same man.

Her home state California does not like her, and she dropped out of her party's Presidential race because there wasn't really any support for her in her party either. To them, she did not have what their official candidate needed, electability. And she struggled getting those votes everywhere, not just in her home state.

What Changed

But that was 2019 and this is now (a few months later). Everything changed in these first months of 2020.

She has now been whole heartedly accepted by her party and she just accepted their invitation to be the running mate of Joe Biden (yes, even though to her, he is still a racist and a rapist).

And lastly repackaged, she has accepted the party's designation for her as the first Black VP candidate (of a major party).

Of course it will not stop her from pandering to the Asian community as well as to Indians and women specifically. And to the Jewish and Caribbean communities.

Okay, now we could probably figure out why the sudden turn around and why she was selected by her party.

Behind the Scenes

Politics will always be such a nasty place to work in. Either you play their game or you're out. In the end you will sell your very soul to reach your or your party's goals (which ever is needed at the moment).

And as we already said, this is not just about one person or one party. This is in general.
