Your Political Persuasion Paints Your Comments

Comments on social media are always colorful. Most people don't hold back and fire off their fingers at will.

And you may not admit to it or worse don't even realize that for the most part, whatever poltical party you are leaning to determines the position you take.

Please pause and think about how crazy that situation is.

Have you noticed that you don't even think anymore or look for facts or listen to reason.

Politicians of any political color are still politicians. They strive to master the art of political science. And the one thing that matters to them is acquiring political power and then keeping it.

Think about these for a moment.

1. Lockdowns

When a Republican was in the Oval Office, the people who vote for the other party were yelling close everything down. Today, with a Democrat in the White House, and with the number of infections rising, their tune is open everything up. What changed?

2. Whataboutery

You just hate it when someone on the other side use whataboutism as an argument. You know what I mean. Whenever someone has a valid criticism of their candidate, their response is 'what about that time when your candidate did this'.

And yes, they are not even trying to respond to the argument. For the most part they really have no response. But after some time, you will find yourself using the same tactic. 

Why? Because politicians are politicians, they are indefensible. Money talks and they listen. Worse is they talk and people listen. If they gave us a penny everytime they don't tell the truth, we will all be millionaires. 

3. Media is King

People go with the flow. Young people do this all time, and we all know this as peer pressure. And it is harder now because of social media. 

Whatever political narrative the media paints, if you aren't getting in line and wearing the same color, you are most likely to be cancelled. How dare you?

Bonus: Recall Newsom

This is a no-brainer, most do not care about this push which is a complete waste of money. Most wouldn't even cast their vote.

The reality is most Californians will vote no even though they know that Gov. Newsom didn't actually do anything for them.

And a small percentage of Californians will vote yes but as what is normally the case in every election, the list of people they will have to choose from is just ridiculous.

Nothing will change, politicians will always be politicians and people who vote along party lines are their best friends but also their whipping boys.

Politicians get to be the princes and the princesses.  Those who voted for them gets to receive the consequences of their thoughtless decisions.

Politicians are nobody's best friend (okay except for their families, love ones and business partners).
