Disclaimer: this is not for those who are easily offended.
America prides itself as the land of the free and the home of the brave. Laws and regulations were established to promote equal rights and equal opportunities.
But the truth is not all rights are equal. Some are protected more than others.
Let us take for example protected classes.
Protected Classes
Protected classes were created by federal and state laws. And they are upheld by county and city rules and ordinances.
Protected classes prohibit intentional discrimination and practices that will have the effect of discriminating against people because of their protected class.
Federal protected classes include:
• Race
• Color
• Religion or creed
• National origin or ancestry
• Sex (including gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation and gender identity)
• Age
• Physical or mental disability
• Veteran status
• Genetic information
• Citizenship
We Are Not All Equal
But we all know that one class trumps another class. And the rights of one protected class is superior over the right of another class.
This goes the same for unalienable rights and constitutional amendment rights.
Not all rights are equal.
In America it is presumed that all men are created equal, and that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are the Right to Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
God
But so many Americans look down upon people who actually believe in a Creator.
Prejudice
Many look down upon people that do not look like them, do not sound like them and do not smell like them. Yes even if they do not admit that they do.
Money Talks
Some frown upon people who went to schools that they feel are not in the same league as the schools they went to.
People are supposed to be presumed innocent until proven guilty, but we all know that people already assume some people are guilty or innocent based on appearances or socio-economic status or their past.
Choices
So many people look down on other people because of the way they voted or the party or the person they voted for.
Freedom of speech trumps other rights and freedoms and protected classes.
Butt of Jokes
For example people can go anywhere in America and tell Asians to go back to the bleeping third world countries they came from and it will be within their right to do so. They can call them any offensive word in the book and get in their face and get away it. If the harassed Asian will ever retailate (which typically would be never) and let us say for example punch the harassing person, which would be a fairly typical and normal reaction, the Asian will be the one taken into police custody. This is true and don't say it isn't.
Inequality
A pregnant woman can legally terminate a pregnancy because it is her body and it is her choice. And her right trumps that of the unborn child.
An African American can call a Caucasian American using an offensive term but not the other way around.
A male who identifies as a female can join a female only sport or program and can use female only facilities, and in so doing trumps the rights of people born as females for they cannot say no.
When a business owner refuses to do business with for example, gays or lesbians even if it is because of their belief, creed or religion, then they will be penalized for doing so.
The federal government and government entities can force a person to take a vaccine even though it is against their religious beliefs, their culture or it might be unsafe due to a medical condition.
The government can offer work, health benefits, food, shelter and education to undocumented aliens but will not offer the same to most people born here or to military veterans.
Yada Yada Yada
We can go on and on but all these are so polarizing and highly political, it will be hard to continue to say more without causing more division and conflict.
Just be aware that not everyone in America is born equal. And as we already know, some are not even given the chance or the right to be born.
