So Speaker Nancy Pelosi was recently chosen to teceive this distinction from NATO for its inaugural Women for Peace and Security Award, and during her acceptance speech, she was so happy (or so surprised) that she accidently blurted out these words:

"when people ask me, ‘If you ruled the world, what one thing would you do?’ I think about that a lot."

Scary slip of the tongue.

She did try to soften the impact of what she said, but it was like toothpaste already pushed out of the tube. Oh well,
