Shootings + Stabbings

There has been a lot of attention on mass shootings (and stabbings) lately.

And rightly so, because the news and social media have been covering these killings. The news are reporting on multiple mass killings per day now.

Politicians and influential people are jumping on the bandwagon and it appears like an agenda is being pushed.

Of course, it has always been like that. There is always an agenda.

Violence

Shootings, stabbings and all sorts of killings are actually daily occurence in the United States (and almost every nation for that matter). For some reason, news media have not been covering them. They only do so, when there is an actual need to.

Numbers

Although it is hard to get the exact numbers due to a number of constraints, available statistics will show that there are:

-Over 320 people in the United States are shot every single day.

-Over 60 people in the U.S. are stabbed every single day.

-Many more are killed by other means.

-Over 3,500 people in America are assaulted every day. 

Frequency

People are killing people. Statistics fluctuate, up or down. And people will continue to kill people. (People are people). Regardless of what we do.

Wait, it is election time right?

That might tell us something.
