It is evident in every day discussions. This is most obvious in debates among sports fans, say like in basketball there are those who are saying Michael is the GOAT, those younger are saying Lebron is, those older are saying Jabbar, those even older Bill Russel ot Wilt. And the debates are heated, especially among those who have not even played basketball. It's crazy really.
Times Are Different
Those born this century (2000s) is totally different from those born in the 1970s, 80s and 90s, who are different from those born in the 1930s, 40s, 50s and 60s. And they are different from those born before them in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Then we have those born in the 2020s (during the pandemic) and they will definitely be totally different than anybody else.
The younger generations calls the boomers always backhurt and are mad when these oldtimers say "back in my time", it is so much different.
I mean it's hard to deny when in more ways than one it is true.
