The police chief will say one thing. The mayor may or may have a different take, same with the governor, celebrities, the media, politicians, and everyone else depending on their persuasion.
Volatile Times
These are really inflammatory times and people espousing their own personal agenda in the streets, in the media or social media is like bringing fuel and fireworks inside a bomb storage facility and just all too happy when the bombs finally explode.
You would think people would be more responsible than that. But this is all wishful thinking.
Current Fuel
So now as Americans were waiting for the (expected) verdict on Derek Chauvin, a new "police story" broke out in Ohio -- another white police officer shot/injured/killed a Black/non-White person.
Without knowing the details, everybody (depending on their agenda) just jumped right in, pushing their agenda out there recklessly -- be it a politician, a celebrity, influencer or anyone really.
Here is one from this organization:
DEFUND & ABOLISH POLICE, REFUND OUR COMMUNITIES
Whose agenda should be obvious to anyone:
“Teenagers have been having fights including fights involving knives for eons. We do not need police to address these situations by showing up to the scene & using a weapon against one of the teenagers,” she tweeted. “Y’all need help. I mean that sincerely.” -Bree Newsome
Sincerity
And yes that was sincere but does not make any kind of sense unless if one is furthering the agenda of abolishing the police.

Be Careful What We Wish For
The issue now is that we all have to be careful what we wish for. As it just might happen soon enough.

And no police will really mean knife fights, gun fights, robberies, anarchy everywhere and everyday.
In closing we can try to remember what then Senator Obama said about bringing a gun to a knife fight.

Then Senator Barack Obama said in a fund-raising in Philadelphia (June 24, 2008), in reference to the elections that “If they (presidential opponents) bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun.”
Police has a job to do, like everyone else as they "try" to become responsible (hopefully soon) everyone else (politicians, media, pundits and wannabe pundits aka celebrities) should all be responsible as well.
Tweets are out there forever even when we decide to delete them later on.
