Exactly, this is the plain truth if you ever believe someone, like a politician, a celebrity or the news.
Politicians
Regardless of what political party you support, it is always a good idea to remember that politicians, especially career politicians do not care about anyone but themselves. And if ever they appear to, it is only because it is for their own benefit or interest that they do so.

Agenda
Politicians will say and promise you anything to get you to vote for them.
This is why every politician has a promising career. Because they will make promises all throughout their careers and worse, they will make promises they know they cannot keep -- smiling while lying through their shiny and sparkling teeth.
Yet people will still keep voting the same politicians into office. Proving it is easier to be fooled than to believe that they have been fooled.
Everything is Political
In 2020 politicians closed businesses and schools (for political purposes).
In 2021 the same politicians have opened up businesses and schools (under similar pandemic numbers, worse even) for... right, political purposes.
And both times not for our benefit but for their own.
In 2020 politicians were saying the pandemic vaccine will not be safe or ready until after more than one and a half years.
In 2021, the same politicians are pushing for the people to take the vaccine which miraculously is now safe and ready.
Yes, every word coming out of their mouths is merely to push their own personal agenda.
Media
The news media is even worst. They will do just about anything to be relevant, downplay or blow up issues, creating something out of nothing.
The crisis at the border is nothing like we have seen in recent years (and it is getting worse by the day). But last year it was big news. It was huge. Today, crickets.
News people say many Americans want to leave the U.S. but will not acknowledge that more than half of people worldwide will do anything, risk everything to come to the most famous nation on earth, the Land of the Free.
Stop the Hate
For a long time and as recent as last year, the news couldn't care less about Asian Americans.
This year, every single news outlet is shouting... stop the hate, we love Asians. What, really?
You love Asians? Since when? Since it became fashionable?

Politicians and the News Media, including social media and rich celebrities (Hollywood and Sports world) are a load of you know what.
Anyone still not believing that they are not being fooled deserve to be fooled. These institutions are the new P.T Barnums and Walt Disneys. Like to Zuckerberg, to every one of them, there is a zucker born every minute. Woke or not.
