Labor Day Weekend 2025
It was supposed to be just a normal day at work.
But Sutter Health became the talk of the town when a posted TikTok video became viral.
The post appeared to show urgent care staff in their Pesetas Urgent Care clinic in Santa Barbara posing with what looks like bodily fluids (left after patient exams). They were jokingly called “gifts” from their patients.
On their website, it says that
Sutter Health is based in Sacramento. They provide healthcare to over 3.5 million Californians.
Their integrated health system offers a connected care model that delivers treatment when, where and how people need it.
Blah blah blah
They have since issued public statements, condemning this and reiterated their commitments to their patients, yada, yada, yada.
Terminated
Sutter Health had announced that after an investigation, they have terminated the employees involved in these photos posted on social media.
Kicker
Now for the kicker, what is not being investigated.
Sutter Health confirmed that the person who posted the video was a previous employee who left late July.
They did not comment on the reasons why these were posted.
The TikTok account linked to the postings was @angieuncut.
The account has appeared to have been locked, its username changed and postings deleted.
Screen Grabs
We think it will be disrespectful for their patients if we did.
